What Is PRF?

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a regenerative substance derived from a your own blood. It is prepared by centrifuging a blood sample to separate out platelets and fibrin, which are then combined to form a fibrin clot rich in platelets and growth factors. PRF is used in various procedures to promote tissue healing and regeneration.

We use PRF primarily in skin rejuvenation and hair loss treatments. By injecting it into the skin, we can stimulate collagen production for improved skin texture, easing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, PRF injections can be used to promote hair growth and improve the thickness and quality of hair in individuals experiencing hair loss or thinning.

What Is PRP?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a substance derived from your own blood. It is prepared by taking a small sample of blood and then centrifuging it to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components.

One of the main differences between PRP vs PRF is PRP contains a higher concentration of platelets than normal blood, along with various growth factors and cytokines that play essential roles in tissue repair and regeneration.

PRP is typically suggested for preventing hair loss or early stages for thinning. PRF is preferred for more advance stages of hair loss.
